Who? Members of the Arkansas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics are invited to register and attend the Nutrition and Dietetics 2021 Virtual Conference & Exhibition

When?  April 8 - 10, 2021.

What? “Building a community of inclusive nutrition experts!”  We are partnering with the Texas Academy of Nutrition and other Affiliates as well as Accelevents, a virtual conference platform, that many are calling the best in the industry. Check it out HERE. Tutorial videos will be sent to registrants prior to the conference, to maximize the attendee experience.

Why? We have an engaging and informative AGENDA planned to cover a range of hot topics with over 25 CEU’s available from live sessions, interactive exhibits, research posters, and on-demand recorded sessions.

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ President Linda Farr, MS, RD, LDN and President-Elect Kevin Sauer, PhD, RD, LD, FAND will offer special greetings to open and close the conference with an update from the Academy.

Marissa Moore, MS, RD, LD, an integrative dietitian and go-to nutrition expert to the media and food blogger will kick off the event with a keynote address on Thursday, April 8th at 6p (CT).

Sean Sherman, founder and CEO chef of The Sioux Chef will close the conference with his unique presentation titled, "The (R)evolution of Indigenous Food Systems of North America" on Saturday, April 10th at 1p (CT)!

In her presentation titled, “The Power of Moments,” Joyce Lamilla, MEd, RD, LD, FAND will teach us how to lift people out of their normal routine to create flagship moments to enhance the experiences of our team members as well as the clients we serve on Friday, April 9th at 2p.

In her presentation titled, “5 Strategies to Build & Lead Strong Virtual Teams,” Sarah Hendren, MS, RD, LD will demonstrate a clear approach to developing the necessary skills to navigate the virtual workplace while laying out actionable strategies, tips, and tools to be an effective virtual leader on Saturday, April 10th at 10:45a.
